University Statistics Reporting Schedule 2006

Important Notice : DEST Submission Dates have changed.

Reporting of Student data for 2006:

As a result of the Nelson reforms 31 March reports usually published by University Statistics were prepared using a combination of validated and preliminary/unvalidated data. The reporting (census) dates of 31 March and 31 August no longer apply. Until 2005 the University reported enrolments and student load (EFTSL) for students who were enrolled on either 31 March and/or 31 August and submitted files to DEST on 31 May and 31 October each year.

Information on students enrolled in 2006 will be submitted to DEST on 31 May 2006, 31 August 2006, 31 October 2006 and 31 March 2007. Data files submitted on:

• 31 May 2006 will cover students enrolled in subjects with census dates from 1 January to 31 March 2006;
• 31 August 2006 will cover students enrolled in subjects with census dates from 1 April to 30 June 2006;
• 31 October 2006 will cover students enrolled in subjects with census dates from 1 July to 31 August 2006;
• 31 March 2007 will cover students enrolled in subjects with census dates from 1 September to 31 December 2006.
